
This is all why I have a perpetual license (and not subscription) because I can at least continue to use it for awhile to edit my own library regardless of what the company does with their pricing of future policies.

If that was really the case, then it would be time to dump them as a company any way since you can't trust anything they're telling you. It would be odd for C1 to change their perpetual licensing strategy this year, announce the loyalty program and then dump it all one year later. I'm offering a scenario based on how things have been described for presumably at least the next few years. Of course, we have no idea what the future will entail with pricing.
